The Running & Trekking Area
The famous Everest Basecamp Trek leads through the Sagarmatha National Park and is one of the most beautiful trekking tours in the world. We first hike from Lukla to the base camp of Mount Everest. The marathon day leads from the base camp to Namche Bazar, includes a loop near Dingboche, and can be seen as a challenging running summary of this dream tour. The Altitude Profile
Welcome to a demanding route. In addition to the high altitude and snow and ice at higher altitudes, exposed and blocked sections, there are also longer steep climbs to master. At least it often feels as if we are running into a wall because of the thin air. Participation is only recommended for trained and experienced (mountain) runners and trail runners.
